Shorty is a spayed female who is about four months old. She came into our Shelter as a stray on September 16. True to her name, Shorty is fairly close to the ground. It is believed that she is a Shepherd/Chow mix, but she certainly didn’t get the height of either breed. She stands about 12 inches at the shoulder and weighs about 25 pounds. She is a cheerful and playful dog with an outgoing personality. She is good with children and appears housebroken. She has shiny black fur that has a bit of a wave to it. Her most notable feature is her ears which are covered in a long downy fuzz that makes her look permanently interested in everything. She loves to give kisses and is happy to eat almost any treat.
Snoopy is a large, male Chow mix. He has stunning good looks and is a muscular, active dog who would love to have an equally active owner.
Surrendered by owners who deemed him hyperactive and too rough with the kids, this 2-1/2-year old is just a healthy, enthusiastic dog who requires regular exercise and probably did not get any.
